Operations Manager

Montana, United States

If you’ve built your career in CIPP and trenchless, you’ll know how rare it is to get real control of operations. This is one of those roles.

You’ll be leading operations across Montana, running multiple projects and managing a team of ~25 (including Superintendents). You’ll own delivery in the field — crews, performance, safety — and be the person people rely on when things don’t go to plan.

This isn’t a reporting role. It’s a doing role.

You’re also not walking into a mess. You’ll have a proper handover from someone who’s done the job well for a long time before they step away, which gives you a genuine chance to take it on the right way.

Hands-on CIPP experience is non-negotiable. You’ll need a solid background in trenchless or underground utilities, experience leading crews, and the ability to manage multiple projects without things slipping. This is about making decisions in the field and dealing with problems as they happen. You might already be in a similar seat, or you might be the one people rely on to run jobs properly without having the title yet either way, this is about stepping into full ownership.

It is a travel-heavy role. You’ll be across Montana, on-site, where the work is happening. For the right person, that’s exactly where you want to be.

What makes this worth considering is where it can lead. The business is growing quickly, and this role sits right in the middle of that. There’s real visibility with leadership, the chance to influence how operations are run, and a clear path into something bigger over time.

If you want a role where you can take ownership, make an impact, and build something — it’s worth a conversation.
