About The Role
_______________________________________________________________________________________________
Mallory Renée is one of America’s premier suppliers of sustainable, reusable, and recyclable tote bags, serving major retail chains and big-box retailers nationwide.
Under new ownership, the company is entering a significant growth phase—expanding its retail footprint, scaling operations, and building the infrastructure to support a much larger business. We are hiring an Operations & Logistics Coordinator to help carry that growth forward.
In this role, you will process customer orders, support international shipping, manage EDI transactions with major retailers, assist with QuickBooks bookkeeping, and keep the office organized. It is a hands-on role with broad exposure across operations, logistics, and finance—ideal for someone who wants to build real, marketable skills inside a company that is growing fast and serves some of the largest retailers in the country.
What You'll Do
_______________________________________________________________________________________________
– Process customer orders. Receive purchase orders, enter them into our systems, and track them through fulfillment.
– Manage EDI transactions. Work in EDI platforms to handle POs, acknowledgements, advance ship notices, and invoices for our retail partners. Flag and help resolve transmission errors.
– Prepare shipping documentation. Invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and the paperwork needed for international ocean freight shipments.
– Coordinate with shipping partners. Communicate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to keep shipments moving on schedule.
– Coordinate with our overseas team. Exchange information with our manufacturing and quality control partners abroad. Time-zone awareness required—some early-morning or late-day messages.
– Help with bookkeeping in QuickBooks. Enter AP and AR transactions, send customer invoices, and assist with basic reconciliations and month-end tasks.
– Keep records organized. Maintain clean digital and physical filing systems so anything can be found quickly.
– Support the office. Handle correspondence, manage supplies, and pitch in on scheduling and special projects as needed.
