This role will work with: Network Materials Planners, Manufacturing Operations Planning, Inventory Planner, Plant Leadership, and Scheduling teams. This role oversees the sequence and timing of operations for a group of work centers across the network to optimize production flow and efficiency while meeting production targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning work centers across the network and the optimization of the sequence to support customer service, minimizing changeover and maintain inventory in the short to mid-term.
  • Communicate with the Manufacturing Operations Planning team and Network Scheduling Manager to understand the short-to-mid-term demand picture while communicating with Plant Operations to ensure the demand can be met with an optimized schedule
  • Maintains all relevant capacity planning master data for the relevant network work centers is accurate and up to date including work center master, routings, and downtime data.
  • Develop contingency plans for unexpected events that may impact production schedules.
  • Ensure that production schedules comply with relevant regulations and quality standards.
  • Works with Logistics Managers and Material Planners to ensure the right materials are available for the production schedule


Skills and Abilities:

  • 2 plus years in manufacturing or scheduling roles
  • 3 plus years of work in a supply chain role desirable
  • Able to analyze data, draw reasonable conclusions, and formulate next steps
  • Exceptional Communicator
  • Experienced in setting priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build strong relationships across the functions and levels
  • Demonstrated strong aptitude in analysis, root cause identification, and problem solving
