Network Governance Analyst / Manager – Job Description

We are seeking a Network Governance professional to oversee network standards, compliance, operational policies, and risk management across enterprise infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain network governance policies, standards, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational requirements
• Review network architecture changes for risk and policy alignment
• Monitor network controls, documentation, and audit readiness
• Partner with Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams on governance initiatives
• Track remediation activities and support continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain inventory, lifecycle, and configuration governance processes

Requirements

• Experience in network operations, infrastructure governance, or IT compliance
• Knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and enterprise networking concepts
• Familiarity with governance frameworks such as ITIL or COBIT
• Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills
• Ability to assess technical risk and recommend corrective actions
• Close corrective actions within established timelines

Preferred

• CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, ITIL, or similar certifications
• Experience with cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure environments
