🚀 Network Engineer (Industrial Networking)
📍 Hybrid – Mayfield Heights, OH (2–3 days onsite)

Our Client, a global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation, is looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join their engineering team. You’ll play a key role in designing, validating, and optimizing Ethernet-based network systems used across advanced automation platforms.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex network architectures
- Build and execute testbeds and test cases for Ethernet networks
- Validate system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Work across both IT and OT environments (industrial + enterprise networking)
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers on technical solutions
- Present findings and contribute to technical discussions
- Take ownership of projects and solve problems independently
🧠 What They’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering or related roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Ethernet networking and protocols:
- STP, VLANs, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, HSRP, VRRP, IGMP, ACLs
- Experience designing and troubleshooting network test environments
- Exposure to industrial networking technologies (DLR, PRP, HSR, MRP)
- Familiarity with Cisco or Stratix switches
- Experience with Allen-Bradley systems is a strong plus
- Ability to work independently and handle complex technical challenges
