Job Description

The Technical Systems Engineer III provides advanced technical support for complex and non-recurring IT issues, as well as business-driven projects. This role is responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions, ensuring system availability, and supporting operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support for complex incidents and business-driven IT projects.
  • Design and implement technical solutions related to access control, security systems, telephony, and other IT services.
  • Deliver onsite support to resolve employee technical issues when required.
  • Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors to implement and manage IT solutions.
  • Manage IT asset lifecycle activities, including inventory, monitoring, and failure detection.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Support system availability and contribute to business continuity.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance IT operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications

 

  • College diploma in Information Technology or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in IT support, handling complex and escalated technical issues.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience designing and implementing technical solutions (e.g., access control, security systems, telephony).
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Experience managing IT asset lifecycle (inventory, monitoring, and failure management).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Language Skills:

  • Advanced English proficiency required.
  • French and/or Spanish preferred.

Salary: To be agreed

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Work Modality: Hybrid work model

Contract Type: Indefinite-term contract
