We are seeking an entry-level Motion Graphic Designer with a passion for motion design and user experience. This role will support the creation of motion assets that enhance digital product experiences by guiding user attention, improving usability, and communicating intent through thoughtful animation.
In addition to UX-focused motion work, this position will contribute to executive communications and internal storytelling initiatives, including presentation support, motion graphics, and short-form video content. Responsibilities
- Create and support motion design assets that improve user experiences across digital products.
- Develop animations, transitions, micro-interactions, walkthroughs, and flow demonstrations based on established UX and design direction.
- Assist with executive presentations, internal communications, and short-form video content that supports product storytelling and strategic initiatives.
- Utilize AI-assisted creative tools to support ideation, prototyping, and production workflows.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate motion into end-to-end product experiences.
- Ensure all motion deliverables align with brand standards, accessibility guidelines, and UX best practices.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and iterate on designs as needed.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, UX, Animation, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of professional, internship, academic, or equivalent experience in motion design, animation, UX design, or visual design.
- Foundational understanding of motion design and animation principles.
- Familiarity with industry-standard motion design tools such as Adobe After Effects and related creative software.
- Understanding of UX concepts including user flows, interaction design, usability, and visual hierarchy.
- Portfolio showcasing motion graphics, animation, visual storytelling, or related creative work.
- Basic knowledge of animation timing, easing, and interaction feedback principles.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn and apply feedback.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Interest in AI-powered design and motion creation tools.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies, tools, and design methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship, academic, or project experience creating motion for digital products, prototypes, applications, or presentations.
- Exposure to UX motion design, interaction design, or product design workflows.
- Experience creating presentation assets, explainer videos, or storytelling-focused motion graphics.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools and workflows.
- Demonstrated interest in emerging design technologies and innovation.
