Mobile Equipment - Maintenance Superintendent | West Texas
We’re partnering with a rapidly growing, well-backed contractor in the mining & civil construction space to find a high-impact Mobile Maintenance Superintendent.
This is a key leadership role overseeing maintenance operations across multiple active sites, managing a large fleet of heavy mobile equipment, and leading a team of field mechanics in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and developing a team of 10–15 field mechanics.
- Overseeing maintenance across multiple mining/job sites.
- Managing a large fleet of heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, haul trucks, etc.).
- Coordinating repairs, vendors, and parts to minimise downtime.
- Owning maintenance budgets and driving cost efficiency.
- Troubleshooting complex mechanical issues when needed.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong leadership experience in mining, heavy civil, or excavation.
- Hands-on background with mobile heavy equipment.
- Proven ability to manage teams in field-based environments.
- Commercial awareness (budgets, job costing).
- A “boots on the ground” leader who thrives under pressure.
