We are seeking an experienced Mobile Engagement Program Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of mobile app push notification campaigns. This role will be responsible for driving user engagement, retention, and conversion through personalized, data-driven communication strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Campaign Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive push notification strategy aligned with business objectives and customer engagement goals.
- Create targeted communication plans utilizing user segmentation and personalization techniques.
- Identify opportunities to improve user retention, engagement, and conversion through mobile messaging initiatives.
Campaign Execution & Optimization
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of push notification campaigns, including planning, content development, scheduling, testing, deployment, and performance monitoring.
- Coordinate A/B testing initiatives to optimize messaging, timing, audience targeting, and campaign effectiveness.
- Ensure timely execution of campaigns while maintaining high quality and consistency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Design teams to deliver successful engagement campaigns.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, project updates, and alignment across teams.
- Coordinate project timelines, priorities, and deliverables to support broader mobile app initiatives.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, including:
- Open Rates
- Click-Through Rates (CTR)
- Conversion Rates
- Engagement Metrics
- Retention Metrics
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations to continuously improve campaign performance.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for leadership and key stakeholders.
Compliance & Best Practices
- Ensure all campaigns comply with privacy regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Stay current on mobile engagement trends, notification best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Establish governance and quality standards for push notification communications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, product management, customer engagement, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience managing push notification campaigns or mobile app engagement programs.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience analyzing campaign performance data and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with push notification platforms such as Firebase, Braze, OneSignal, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of audience segmentation, personalization strategies, and customer lifecycle engagement.
- Experience designing and executing A/B testing programs.
- Familiarity with mobile app marketing, user retention strategies, and engagement optimization.
- Experience working in fast-paced, data-driven environments.
