Job Description:

Legere Group is seeking a Millwork Estimator to join our onsite team at our Avon, CT office. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly motivated, and possesses strong communication skills. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within the millwork industry.

Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate project cost estimates
• Prepare and submit bids for fabrication and installation
• Communicate with General Contractors and Architects regarding scope and requirements
• Perform take-offs for custom millwork and woodworking items
• Source materials and coordinate subcontractor pricing
• Prepare and price change orders for projects in progress
• Analyze and determine material and labor costs for each project

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Understanding of architectural drawings and cost estimation
• Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 2+ years of estimating or related construction experience
• Experience in millwork, cabinetry, woodworking, or finish carpentry preferred
