Overview

Our client is supporting a large-scale implementation of Microsoft Customer Insights for a national nonprofit organization operating across ~100 local chapters. This role will serve as a critical bridge between the centralized platform and local marketing teams, helping each chapter adopt and effectively use the new system to execute campaigns and manage marketing efforts.


Role Summary

We are seeking a Microsoft Customer Insights (Marketing) resource who can support ongoing platform rollout and marketing execution across a distributed organization.

  • Senior Consultant (preferred): Hands-on implementation expert who can immediately own and optimize the platform


Key Responsibilities

Platform & Implementation Support

  • Support rollout and adoption of Microsoft Customer Insights (Journeys) across ~100 local chapters
  • Configure and manage customer journeys, segmentation, and marketing assets
  • Ensure consistency and best practices across all locations
  • (Senior profile) Lead or support implementation, setup, and optimization of the platform


Marketing Campaign Execution

  • Build and maintain marketing assets including:
  • Email campaigns
  • Customer journeys
  • Segmented audience lists
  • Support local teams in executing campaigns within the new platform
  • Translate marketing needs into system configurations


Stakeholder Support & Training

  • Partner with local chapter teams to understand marketing needs and requirements
  • Provide guidance, training, and ongoing support on platform usage
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams


Data & Migration Support

  • Assist with migration from legacy tools such as:
  • Mailchimp
  • Constant Contact
  • Ensure marketing data is structured and usable within Customer Insights
  • Support data-driven campaign targeting and segmentation


Required Qualifications

Hands-on implementation experience with Microsoft Customer Insights (Journeys) (required)

  • Experience in a consulting or in-house role managing marketing automation platforms
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Ability to independently configure and manage marketing journeys and campaigns
  • Experience working directly with stakeholders and leading platform adoption


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a federated or multi-location organization
  • Exposure to nonprofit or mission-driven environments
  • Experience training users or supporting platform adoption
  • Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps)
