Metal Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Metal Finisher to enhance the quality of stainless steel parts by grinding and polishing welded surfaces to a smooth, mirror-like finish. This role demands a keen eye for detail to identify and correct any defects or imperfections in the welds. You will also employ a straight liner to edge the sheet metal, ensuring a flawless finish.

Responsibilities

• Grind out welds on stainless steel parts to achieve a smooth finish.
• Buff and polish the exterior to a mirror finish.
• Inspect welds for defects and imperfections.
• Use a straight liner to edge the sheet metal.
• Engage in repetitive production work, maintaining consistency and quality.

• 6 months of metal finishing or grinding experience.
• Mechanical inclination, potentially from construction, lube tech, or manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Openness to repetitive tasks and standing for the duration of the shift.

• Experience with measuring equipment like micrometers and calipers is advantageous but not required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ramsey, MN.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
