We’re hiring a hands‑on Fabricator who enjoys variety, learning new equipment, and being part of a collaborative shop environment. If you like working with metal, operating CNC machinery, and taking pride in quality work, this is a great opportunity.

What You’ll Do

• Operate fabrication equipment including lasers, brake presses, saws, and other CNC machinery
• Start most jobs at the saw and transition to other tasks as needed
• Monitor cut quality, hole quality, and overall part accuracy
• Adjust machine settings and nesting techniques to improve performance and throughput
• Assist with creating Python‑based laser programs and .DXF files for parts and sheet nests
• Identify material types (mild steel, stainless steel) and shapes (sheet, plate, tube, channel, flat bar)
• Support other fabricators on brake press, shear, and additional shop equipment
• Perform occasional physical tasks such as kneeling, crouching, or reaching

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in fabrication or CNC machine operation
• Ability to run laser and brake press equipment
• Understanding of material types, gauges, and fabrication processes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Willingness to learn and support multiple areas of production

This is a Permanent position based out of Norwood Young America, MN.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
