• Configure, update and troubleshoot IT/MES Applications and electrical controls for manufacturing operations.
• Provide training to plant team on the operation and diagnostics of MES application and the machine controls.
• Research and implement cost effective upgrades to the equipment and manufacturing applications.
• Maintain master backups for all machine programs, database and MES Configurations.
• Supports manufacturing metrics (Safety, Engineering Change, OEE, Scrap, Waste)
• Modify and create SQL queries and stored procedures to create reports and functions.
• Specify, design, develop, document, test and implement Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions within manufacturing facilities.
• Drive standardization across MES processes and systems throughout company network.
• Work with business management and users to define the needs and design solutions that add value to the company.
• Perform system configuration changes, monitor systems and correct errors.
• Interface with various types of machines and applications to collect data to drive processes.
• Understand company’s digitization strategy and apply new technologies and standards to achieve optimal results.
• Support web applications and solutions.
• Support Industry 4.0 Machine Learning, AR/VR and IoT applications.
• Coordinate MES activities with internal and external departments for zero downtime.
• Must be available by phone during all operational/production times (on call).
