Role Description

We are looking for a dedicated, detail‑oriented Medical Office Receptionist / Chiropractic Assistant to support our clinical team and ensure smooth daily operations. This role combines patient interaction, administrative responsibilities, and support for our providers. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and manage check‑in/check‑out using our EHR system (ChiroTouch).

• Schedule appointments accurately and manage daily clinic flow.

• Answer phones with professionalism and excellent customer service.

• Verify insurance benefits and assist with billing processes, including basic collections.

• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and health information management standards.

• Assist with patient intake, collect health histories, and update EMR documentation.

• Support administrative operations through data entry, filing, and supply management.

• Collaborate with the chiropractic team to ensure an efficient, patient‑centered experience.



Qualifications

Required:

• Prior experience (1-2 years minimum) in a medical, chiropractic, or dental office

Strong proficiency in receptionist duties and medical office operations

• Experience with appointment scheduling and insurance verification

• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Demonstrated reliability with consistent attendance

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment

• High school diploma or equivalent


Preferred:

• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems (ChiroTouch experience is a plus)

• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare office procedures

• Familiarity with CPT codes, ICD‑9/10 coding, and Medicare billing

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office

• Additional certification or training in medical office administration
