Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–5:00 PM Locations: Everett, WA
About the Role We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with at least one year of experience to support our busy clinical practices across Everett, Marysville, and Mill Creek. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced healthcare environment. Experience with cardiology or EPIC EMR is a plus.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties
Room patients and prepare exam rooms in accordance with clinic standards. Obtain and document vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiration. Perform patient history intake and update medical records accurately within the EMR. Assist providers during patient evaluations and procedures as needed. Support cardiology‑specific workflows (preferred but not required).
Administrative Duties
Manage patient scheduling, including diagnostic tests and follow‑up appointments. Perform in‑basket tasks such as routing messages, processing orders, and documenting communications. Answer and triage patient phone calls, relay messages to providers, and ensure timely follow-ups. Enter and maintain accurate documentation in a computerized EMR system.
Required Qualifications
Active Medical Assistant Certification (required).Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Certified Medical Assistant. Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking abilities. Proficiency using computerized medical record systems.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
Experience or familiarity with Cardiology. EPIC EMR experience. Ability to thrive in a high‑volume clinical environment.
Work Schedule
Monday–Friday7:45 AM – 5:00 PM No weekend or holiday coverage required unless otherwise arranged.
