Our client is seeking a Matrimonial Associate Attorney with family law experience to join their growing practice. This position is ideal for a compassionate, detail‑oriented attorney who is comfortable handling sensitive matters and working closely with clients.

What You’ll Do

• Provide legal advice to clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and domestic violence
• Conduct client consultations to assess legal issues and gather relevant information
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court hearings
• Prepare discovery requests and responses (interrogatories, subpoenas, document production)
• Draft settlement agreements and child custody arrangements
• Prepare Case Information Statements, including adept review of tax returns
• Attend hearings, trials, and conferences, advocating on behalf of clients
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and client communication and collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure timely and efficient case management
• Communicate regularly with clients to keep them informed about case progress and strategy
• Work with senior attorneys and legal teams to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes

What We’re Looking For

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in New Jersey
• Minimum of 3–6 years of family law experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage a high caseload and work under pressure
