Materials Management Supervisor (Warehouse Supervisor)

The Clark County Water Reclamation District is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Materials Management Supervisor (Warehouse Supervisor) position. This position will be primarily responsible for:
  • Planing and supervising the work of staff operating a large warehouse facility.
  • Managing perpetual and periodic inventory systems for the District.
  • Performing professional-level purchasing, specification preparation, contracting and expediting activities.
  • Performing in an active advisory role for multi-year contracts for materials, equipment and supplies.
  • Lifting and maneuvering materials and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds with proper equipment.
  • Coordinating the storage, removal, and disposal of construction materials and the sale of all surplus assets.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration or a field related to the work
  • Four (4) years of full-time professional purchasing and/or warehouse or similar work experience, preferably in a public agency setting, two (2) year of which were in a lead/supervisory role.
  • Equivalent combination of formal education and appropriate related experience may be considered.
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Possess a valid Nevada Class [C] driver's license at time of application.
  • Forklift Operator Certification
Background Investigation:
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation. Additional background investigations may be conducted periodically after employment.
Pre-Employment Drug Testing:
  • Employment is contingent upon the results of a pre-employment drug examination.
Medical Examination:
  • Employment is contingent upon the results of a physical examination performed by our examining physician.
