Compensation:
$21.63/hr to $26.40/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
Job Schedule: 6AM-4:30PM Monday – Thursday on the 4-10’s schedule. (Friday’s Off)
Job Description
A client in the defense industry is looking for an Inventory Management support to join their team. The role is a hands-on position responsible for ensuring materials, parts, and equipment are accurately received, tracked, and distributed to support production operations. This individual works closely with production teams to move materials throughout the facility, maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, and support shipping activities using internal systems. The role also involves organizing storage areas, picking parts based on production needs, and identifying any discrepancies or issues. Working under limited supervision, this person follows established processes, contributes to a safe and efficient work environment, and supports overall operational flow.
Required Skills & Experience
• Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills.
• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Prior experience with data entry on PCs and Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Access and Power Point)
• Prior experience with meeting goals / deadlines while being able to be flexible.
• Must be able to independently lift 40 pounds.
• Require the ability to push / pull using carts throughout the day.
• Ability to stoop, crouch, bend and twist repeatedly throughout the day Familiarity working in environments where steel toe boots/shoes are required.
