Job Description
Role Overview
We are hiring a Support Analyst / Material Handler to execute daily operations for inspection, work order updates (learn and use Procurement), de-kitting, and disposition preparation of decommissioned network hardware. The role ensures accuracy, traceability, and proper handling before warehouse handover.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Inspection (Decom Hold)
• Perform visual inspection for damage
• Validate:
o Component completeness
o Packaging & labeling
o Country of Origin (COO)
o Serial numbers (S/N)
• Flag discrepancies and exceptions
Work Order Management (Procurement)
• Update WOs with:
o GPN quantity
o S/N and COO
o Hardware attributes
• Ensure system–physical alignment
Inventory Processing (De-kitting)
• Breakdown equipment by GPN/material type
• Move items to “Main” inventory locations
• Maintain traceable and organized staging
Decom Hold & Disposition
• Perform basic configuration checks
• Retrofit missing components (if required)
• Route inventory to:
o Reuse / Remarket / Scrap
Handover & Packaging
• Handover materials to Warehouse Vendor
• Maintain packaging supplies inventory
• Ensure hardware is securely packed to prevent damage
Key Skills & Experience
• 3–6 years in warehouse ops, hardware handling, or IT asset management
• Familiarity with network components and inventory processes
• Learn and use Procurement
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable working in warehouse/hub environments
• Adherence to safety and handling standards
