With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome a Master Electrician to join our dynamic team at Boston Logan International Airport.


Scope of Work

The Master Electrician will oversee and lead all electrical work, including installations, repairs, projects, and preventive maintenance. This role ensures all work is completed in compliance with applicable codes, company standards, and manufacturer specifications, while also supervising junior electricians in daily operations.


**Schedule may vary based on project and customer requirements, including evenings, weekends, and off-hours work. **


Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility required.

Compensation: $50.00 - $70.00 p/h (Based on experience) medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k


Job Responsibilities

  • Train, develop and supervise journeyman and apprentices
  • Oversee all electrical installations, repairs, projects, and preventive maintenance activities
  • Plan and implement electrical projects from start to finish according to specifications and code, including material takeoffs
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
  • Ensure all work is completed on time and within budget
  • Inspect electrical components and systems for safety and functionality
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
  • Ensure compliance with state and local building codes, including National Electrical Code (NEC) and Massport regulations
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors on electrical projects

Requirements

  • Valid Massachusetts Master Electrician License required
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Master Electrician
  • Complete understanding of National Electric Code (NFPA 70 and 70E)
  • Experience with control systems, including installation and troubleshooting
  • Ability to assess project requirements and prepare accurate, comprehensive cost estimates
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, blueprints, and drawings
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments and heights
  • Valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
