Business Development & Marketing Manager

Location: Dallas (Hybrid)


We are partnering with a highly regarded professional services firm to identify a Business Development & Marketing Manager to support a key practice area. This individual will act as a strategic partner to attorneys, helping elevate visibility, drive client engagement, and support growth initiatives across the practice.


This is a highly collaborative role that blends business development, marketing strategy, and client service. The right candidate will be proactive, polished, and confident working directly with senior stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development efforts for a core practice group, partnering closely with attorneys to identify growth opportunities and drive strategy
  • Prepare and manage pitch materials, RFP responses, and client presentations to support new business efforts
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across practice areas to deepen existing client relationships
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market activity, and emerging topics to proactively recommend thought leadership opportunities
  • Support public relations and media opportunities that enhance attorney and practice visibility
  • Plan and execute client-facing events, webinars, and networking initiatives
  • Manage and update website content to ensure alignment with current messaging and practice priorities
  • Develop marketing collateral including presentations, newsletters, and promotional materials using PowerPoint and Adobe tools
  • Lead and facilitate regular practice group meetings, ensuring alignment on pipeline activity and BD initiatives
  • Maintain a high-touch, service-oriented approach when working with internal stakeholders


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of marketing or business development experience within a law firm or professional services environment (accounting, consulting, AEC, or similar)
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to develop polished client-facing materials and presentations
  • Experience supporting senior stakeholders and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of business development strategy, client engagement, and relationship building
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with event planning and execution preferred
