Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Job Description

This position is responsible for the manufacturing of pharmaceutical assemblies in a GMP environment. It includes various manufacturing tasks as well as the preparation of solutions and production materials.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily manufacturing tasks as assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform setup, verification, and teardown of equipment before and after processing.
  • Prepare solutions and production materials.
  • Conduct manufacturing tasks including fabrication, in-process testing, and packaging.
  • Document production activities in manufacturing lot history records.
  • Clean up production equipment and production area.
  • Perform analysis of data as needed.

  • 2+ years of lab experience for the openings in the laboratory department
  • 2+ years of medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience for the openings in the formulation department
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced cGMP environment.
  • Ability to work in a controlled lab/manufacturing environment with chemicals.
  • Comfortable wearing heightened PPE including a respirator or fume hood.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of related experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or large-scale medical equipment.
  • Familiarity with chemistry concepts is highly recommended.
  • Experience with vialing powder and hands-on equipment dealing with liquids.
  • Performing test methods using a 400x microscope and using a particle size machine such as a Malvern Mastersizer.

Work Environment

Work in a cleanroom/manufacturing environment requiring adherence to safety protocols. Expect to use advanced technologies and equipment while maintaining high safety standards. Shifts are available in different departments, including early morning starts with occasional Saturday work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
