Job Title: MES Engineer (Manufacturing Systems Engineer)
Location: San Angelo, TX 76905 (100% Onsite)
Employment Type: W2 Contract (No C2C), 1 Year Contract with possibility for extensions
Pay Rate: $33.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (with rotating on-call support)
Role Overview:
BEPC is seeking an MES Engineer to support our client’s manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to work with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), supporting system configuration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced production environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on MES experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, IT, and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and implement MES solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Configure and support MES applications (e.g., Siemens Camstar).
- Troubleshoot and resolve MES system issues on the plant floor and integration points.
- Support MES user management, including account setup and access control.
- Develop and execute test plans and validation activities.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system improvements and implementation projects.
- Provide training and support to end users and production staff.
- Maintain system documentation, procedures, and reporting tools.
- Support production data tracking and reporting.
- Participate in on-call support rotation for after-hours and weekend coverage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1+ year of experience working with MES systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with MES platforms (Siemens, Camstar preferred).
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and system integration issues.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP, quality systems, or documentation control systems.
- Knowledge of test validation and system qualification processes.
- Exposure to automation systems and production IT environments.

- Duration: 12-month W2 contract (no C2C)
- Location: San Angelo, TX 76905 (100% onsite)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard business hours
- On-Call: Rotational (after-hours/weekends, approximately once per month)
- Pay Rate: $33.00 – $35.00 per hour
