Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support the Maintenance and Reliability function at a large manufacturing facility. This role focuses on improving equipment reliability, maintenance processes, and overall operational performance. The Process Engineer will work closely with high-performing, self-directed teams to resolve technical issues, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure maintenance operations are safe, efficient, and well-resourced.

This role also contributes to building Maintenance and Reliability team capabilities through data analysis, reporting, and information flow, while participating in strategic planning, goal setting, and reliability-focused initiatives. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to support maintenance standards and a zero-incident safety culture.


Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and manage safety while improving maintenance performance and reliability.
  • Serve as a process expert and continuous improvement leader for maintenance and reliability efforts.
  • Lead improvement projects focused on equipment reliability, cost reduction, resource utilization, and cycle-time reduction using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
  • Analyze maintenance performance gaps using statistical and data-driven methods.
  • Support the development of high-performing, self-directed maintenance teams.
  • Ensure effective use of standard work, control plans, and reliability tools to drive process stability.
  • Monitor maintenance KPIs related to safety, quality, productivity, and reliability.
  • Support TPM activities, maintenance planning, outage coordination, and execution improvements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience creating or updating process documentation (Control Plans, FMEAs, JSAs, Standard Work).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; MS Project experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with maintenance and reliability principles.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
