Manufacturing Planner

As a Manufacturing Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of work instructions as directed by a Manufacturing Engineer. You will ensure compliance with customer and product procurement specifications and implement all engineering changes. You will validate that the manufacturing process meets all customer and internal requirements and apply operation time standards as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clear and concise work instructions for detail parts, sub-assemblies, and top assemblies.
• Assist with planning and projects related to machining, forming, stamping, heat treating, and chemical processing of materials such as Titanium, Inconel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel.

• Experience as a Planner with a focus on engineering change orders and production planning.
• Proficiency in creating work instructions and understanding aerospace industry standards.
• Familiarity with bills of material and blueprint reading.
• Knowledge of Excel and Word, including pivot tables, IF statements, and V-lookups.
• Attention to detail with intermediate computer skills.

• High School degree or GED with 2+ years of experience in an Aerospace manufacturing environment required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing work instructions for sheet metal forming, welding, machining, and heat treating to aerospace industry standards is a plus.

The position is office-based, located by the lobby, working closely with Manufacturing Engineers. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. This role reports to the Lead Planner, working within a cohesive team that includes a lead tech and a Senior Planner. This is a Permanent position based out of Burbank, CA.

The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
