Manager of Accounting & Finance

Greater Philadelphia Area - 19153 (primarily on-site, with limited flexibility)


A well-established, family-owned manufacturing business with a long-standing reputation for quality and operational excellence is seeking a Manager of Accounting & Finance to join its leadership team.


This is a highly visible role offering full ownership of the finance function, blending hands-on accounting leadership with strategic financial planning. You’ll partner directly with ownership and senior leadership to drive business performance, improve profitability, and support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, cash management, and purchasing
  • Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements and management reports
  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning
  • Establish and enhance accounting policies, processes, and internal controls
  • Analyze margins, costs, and financial performance to identify improvement opportunities
  • Partner with leadership on pricing, investments, and growth initiatives
  • Oversee relationships with banks, auditors, and external financial partners
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations
  • Mentor and lead a small accounting/finance team


Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5–8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
  • Strong background in hands-on accounting and financial planning & analysis
  • Experience in manufacturing, consumer products, distribution, or similar operational environments preferred
  • Proven ability to manage cash flow and support business decision-making
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring a team
  • CPA/CMA is a plus


Compensation:

$120,000 – $140,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)
