Segrera Associates is partnering with a growing healthcare organization to identify an experienced Accounting Manager to join its corporate finance team. This is a highly visible position that will partner closely with senior leadership and requiring a deep understanding of gross revenue, contractual discounts, denials, and bad debt. This position will play a key role in financial reporting, month-end close, revenue analysis, budgeting support, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has experience supporting complex revenue streams within a healthcare or multi-site operating environment.


This role is fully on-site in North Orlando, FL. Candidates must be located within commuting distance of North Orlando, FL and comfortable working on-site. Candidates open to relocating to the Orlando area are also welcome to apply


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including financial statement preparation and account reconciliations.
  • Analyze revenue trends, accruals, reserves, and other key financial metrics to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, variance analyses, and supporting schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies while identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities by providing meaningful analysis and recommendations.
  • Support external audits and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of audit requests.
  • Oversee fixed asset accounting, depreciation schedules, and other general accounting functions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operational and finance teams to improve reporting accuracy and enhance decision-making.
  • Utilize advanced Excel and financial systems to streamline reporting and increase efficiency
  • Participate in special projects, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Healthcare revenue experience is required.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within healthcare or other complex service-based organizations.
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools preferred.
  • CPA or CPA-track candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
