Maintenance Technician – Electrical Focus

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with strong electrical skills to support production operations in a fast‐paced manufacturing environment. This position follows a rotating 12‐hour shift schedule and requires hands‐on troubleshooting, equipment repair, and preventative maintenance to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
Responsibilities
Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance
- Perform electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments on production machinery and facility equipment.
- Diagnose issues with motors, control panels, sensors, wiring, and electrical components.
- Conduct mechanical repairs including belts, bearings, gears, and drive systems.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
Equipment Monitoring & Repair
- Respond to machine breakdowns quickly and effectively.
- Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential failures or safety concerns.
- Calibrate, test, and verify proper operation of electrical systems and controls.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and documentation.
- Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety and environmental standards.
Production Support
- Collaborate with machine operators and supervisors to resolve equipment issues.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Assist with basic facility maintenance as needed.
Requirements
- Electrical experience required (industrial or manufacturing environment preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and manuals.
- Experience with industrial machinery, automation, or production equipment.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices.
- Ability to work 12‐hour rotating shifts (days/nights).
- Manufacturing or maintenance technician experience strongly preferred.
