Title: Temperature Calibration Technician

Location: Norcross, GA (Full-Service Lab) or White, GA (Onsite at customer location)

Job Type: Full-Time (Monday-Friday, 40 hrs/week)

Pay rate: $25-35 /hr (based on experience and location)

TMI Calibration, established in 1991, is an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory offering full-service calibration, repair, and asset management solutions for test equipment. With multiple labs across the U.S., TMI specializes in automated and on-site calibrations, cleanroom certifications, and customized technical services.


Position Overview:

We are seeking experience Temperature Calibration Technicians to support either our onsite customer program or full-service lab operations. The role ensures accuracy and reliability of measurement instruments, with strong attention to detail, documentation, and adherence to ISO/IEC 17025 standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate test equipment (Thermometers, temperature baths/chambers, temperature controllers, thermocouples, precision RTDs/PRTs/ SPRTS, and data loggers)
  • Maintain NIST-traceable, A2LA-accredited ISO/IEC 17025 standards
  • Generate detailed calibration reports and certificates
  • Troubleshoot and maintain calibration equipment
  • Collaborate on improving calibration procedures
  • Support audits with technical expertise


Requirements and Skills:

  • Experience in temperature and electrical calibration (AC/DC, temperature, electrical, etc)
  • Preferred: DOD, PMEL, or military calibration background
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • U.S. Citizenship/Permanent Resident status required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
