Seeking a full-time Industrial Mechanic to support manufacturing and facility maintenance in a fast-paced production environment. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment while supporting safety, efficiency, and production goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair production machinery and facility equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs
  • Align pumps, motors, shafts, and gearboxes using precision tools
  • Complete equipment tear-downs, rebuilds, and installations
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams
  • Wire and test single-phase, three-phase, and DC motors
  • Use CMMS systems to document maintenance activities and parts usage
  • Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all safety procedures
  • Communicate equipment status and maintenance updates with team members
  • Support continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical certification or associate degree preferred
  • 2–5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • PLC knowledge preferred
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
  • Basic computer skills
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification

Physical Requirements

  • Stand, sit, and operate equipment for extended periods

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing/production setting
  • Exposure to machinery, noise, and moving equipment
  • PPE required, including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe shoes
