Summary A manufacturing company in Mount Pleasant, TN is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong electrical, mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting capability. This role supports plant uptime, equipment reliability, and safe operations across a fast‑paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC‑controlled equipment, including fault finding, I/O checks, and basic program adjustments.
- Diagnose issues with motors, drives, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and automation systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and PLC ladder logic.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and parts usage.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and safety teams to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
- Follow all OSHA, LOTO, and plant safety procedures.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Hands‑on experience with PLC systems (Allen‑Bradley preferred).
- Working knowledge of AC/DC circuits, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance best practices.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and respond quickly to downtime events.
- Willingness to work overtime or off‑shift as needed.
