Maintenance Technician - Industrial (Direct Hire)

Our client, a leader in industrial manufacturing, is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Industrial to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, independence, and technical proficiency, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Industrial

Location: Ladson, SC

Pay Range: $36 plus 8% shift premium

Shift: 2nd Shift - 3PM to 11:30PM or 3rd Shift 11pm-7:30am

What's the Job?

• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex electrical and mechanical system issues
• Perform repairs or replacements of defective equipment parts using hand and power tools
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure machinery and building systems operate efficiently
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, and fluid levels, replacing filters and performing maintenance checks
• Use electrical and electronic testing devices to diagnose machine malfunctions and record maintenance activities

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance or troubleshooting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
• Basic knowledge of machines, tools, and electrical systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
