Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves a blend of mechanical and electrical maintenance duties on industrial equipment within a storage, logistics, and processing facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform 70/30 or 80/20 mechanical versus electrical maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and install machinery.
• Maintain elevators, conveyors, augers, and various grain equipment.
• Conduct mechanical troubleshooting of pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, sensors, bearings, and contactors.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting up to 480v single and three phase, including running wire, bending conduit, and wiring motors.
• Execute MIG and Stick welding and fabrication tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Conduct building and facility maintenance.
• Lift up to 50lbs and work at heights up to 200ft.

Essential Skills

• Electrical troubleshooting
• Mechanical troubleshooting
• Experience with 480v systems
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
• Proficiency in welding (MIG and Stick)
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, and sensors
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• GED or high school diploma

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Preventive and corrective maintenance skills
• Comfortable working at heights
• Ability to work in a dirty and dusty environment

Work Environment

The work environment involves storage, logistics, and processing of grain, wheat, feed, and fuel. It is a very dirty and dusty setting where technicians will work both indoors and outdoors in non-climate controlled buildings. The position is on the 1st/2nd/3rd shift Monday through Friday, with 5-10 hours of overtime currently required during the week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maumee, OH.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Maumee,OH.
