Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

We are seeking skilled individuals to perform first‑stage assembly of manufactured products in a production environment. This role involves using hand and power tools to assemble components while maintaining high standards for accuracy, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assemble product components using hand and power tools
• Operate general production and manufacturing equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings
• Measure, align, and fit components according to specifications
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
• Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work area

Essential Skills

• Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production environments
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in industrial settings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• At least 6 months of experience in manufacturing, construction, general labor, farming, or a related field

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous machine or equipment operation experience is a plus but not required
• Packaging or material‑handling experience is beneficial

Shifts & Pay

• 1st Shift: Mon–Fri | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM (up to 3:30 PM with possible OT) | $19–$20/hr
  • Possible OT on Saturdays at DOUBLE time
• 2nd Shift: Mon–Thu | 3:30 PM–2:00 AM | $22–$23/hr
  • Possible OT on Fridays at DOUBLE time
• 3rd Shift: Mon–Thu | 7:30 PM–6:00 AM | $22–$23/hr
  • Possible OT on Fridays at DOUBLE time

Work Environment

Work in a structured manufacturing environment with modern equipment, good ventilation, and proper lighting. Required safety equipment includes steel‑toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection (provided where applicable). Jeans or shorts may be worn during warmer months.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stewartville, MN.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Stewartville,MN.
