Maintenance Duties:
- Responsible for directing and overseeing total facility maintenance.
- Effective troubleshooting of equipment throughout the facility to ensure optimal levels of production
- Serves as a resource for the development and communication of more efficient methods to reduce maintenance and repair costs.
- Responsible for the strategic planning of the maintenance department.
- Responsible for managing departmental budget.
- Work with production team to resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner with minimal disturbance to output
- Responsible for after-hours and emergency call coverage.
- Responsible for own accountability
- Directly supervises and guides Maintenance Team.
Maintenance Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Degree from a vocational school or bachelor’s degree in business administration or facility management preferred
- Food manufacturing preferred
- Fluent in Spanish speaking is preferred
- Proven experience as maintenance manager or another managerial role
- OSHA 30 trained desirable
- Knowledge of robotics/automation systems
- Experience in planning maintenance operations
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of process controls, electrical systems etc.
