Maintenance Supervisor

Extension is seeking a Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Fond du Lac County. This role is highly involved on the floor and focuses on equipment uptime, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a small team of maintenance technicians
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of production equipment
• Develop, implement, and improve a preventive maintenance (PM) program
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and general safety standards
• Support plant layout changes and equipment reconfiguration
• Maintain building electrical standards
• Oversee basic building and grounds maintenance
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment
• Perform minor troubleshooting related to HVAC systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Operate with a high level of independence and accountability

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on mechanical maintenance background
• Experience creating or improving preventive maintenance programs
• Prior maintenance leadership or lead-level experience
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of OSHA and industrial safety standards
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
