We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Repairer 2 to perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance and repair tasks at one of its secure care facilities or administrative offices. This position plays a vital role in maintaining safe, functional, and well-kept environments for youth and staff. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in general maintenance and a commitment to public service.
Two years of experience or training in the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or as a parks building and grounds attendant; ORCompletion of a two-year vocational technical program in general building construction, construction technology, or engineering; ORTwelve semester hours in construction management, construction technology, or engineering, or any combination of these courses.The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found

This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing campus facilities, equipment, and grounds to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The role combines hands-on maintenance work with groundskeeping and custodial duties, requiring versatility and technical skill across multiple trades.
