Maintenance Lead

Join a dynamic team at a leading manufacturer of Frozen Baked Goods for Grocery Stores across the US. We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Engineer for full-time employment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment alongside our Facilities Team. The role involves performing essential repairs and maintenance tasks on various bakery production equipment, freezers, and facilities in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing, and repair of all equipment within the bakery, including production areas and facility grounds.
• Maintain equipment productivity to minimize downtime or malfunctions, often within strict timeframes to enhance productivity.
• Ensure that all work areas are clean and safe, adhering to company GMPs.
• Work safely and efficiently, complying with Federal and State regulations.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of work performed on work orders, maintenance calls, and preventative maintenance reports.
• Respond promptly to maintenance and line stoppage calls to resume production swiftly.
• Provide quick and efficient emergency repairs.
• Perform duties across all areas within the maintenance department.
• Offer technical assistance and information to the Chief Engineer as needed.
• Demonstrate initiative in identifying tasks that need attention and make recommendations to the Chief Engineer.

• Experience in preventive maintenance and maintenance technician roles.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

• Industrial electrical experience.
• Leadership skills with the ability to coach and direct people.
• Experience with inverter and PLC programming is preferred.
• Previous experience in the maintenance of production line equipment and facilities, particularly in a large commercial bakery, is preferred.
• Experience in similar equipment maintenance in industrial, manufacturing, or production line environments is preferred.
• Ability to work in a high-temperature environment supporting fast-paced machinery.
• Quick learning ability for new tasks and flexibility to perform various tasks as needed.
• Must be able to work any day, including holidays and weekends.
• Reliable transportation for meeting 24/7 production standards.

Work Environment

The work environment is a commercial bakery with exposure to noise, dust, and food allergens. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hair nets, gloves, smocks, and glasses must be worn at all times.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lynnwood, WA.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
