Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems. The position involves a blend of electrical (70%) and mechanical (30%) responsibilities, focusing on troubleshooting and maintaining various industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PLC troubleshooting and manage equipment controls.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and complete all related documentation in compliance with procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and repair vision systems, filling machines, leak testers, palletizers, conveyors, and industrial scales.
  • Maintain secondary equipment such as pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, conveyors, pumps, gears, gearboxes, bearings, and cylinders.
  • Conduct electrical troubleshooting of motor controls and motor starters.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems from 110v up to 480v, including single and three-phase systems.
  • Maintain and program industrial robotics.
  • Perform troubleshooting, system analysis, and repair of electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Rebuild and maintain equipment to support high production output.
  • Execute repair, maintenance, and operation of utility, electrical, and mechanical systems as required.
  • Act as an informal team leader and assist other technicians with support tasks requiring considerable judgment and initiative.
  • Observe, evaluate, and suggest operational or design changes or maintenance needs to maintain or increase the efficiency of manufacturing equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oregon, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr.
