Job Title: Mailroom Clerk

Compensation: $20.00 – $25.00/hour

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for occasional local deliveries
  • Familiarity with common shipping carriers (e.g., UPS, USPS)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting
  • Professional demeanor with solid organizational skills

Job Description:

Addison Group is hiring a Mailroom Clerk on behalf of our client. This position supports daily mailroom functions and ensures timely and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing correspondence, along with general administrative support tasks.

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages across departments
  • Prepare and process outgoing mail, including labeling and shipment coordination
  • Conduct internal research to locate and retrieve documents or check copies as requested
  • Assist with daily check processing and ensure timely completion of check runs
  • Support document management tasks such as scanning, indexing, and file organization
  • Adhere to internal procedures and compliance standards with a high degree of accuracy
  • Provide coverage and assistance on special projects or during team absences
  • Monitor and replenish breakroom supplies as needed
