Machine Operator

We’re looking for an experienced Laser / Punch Press Operator to join a small, tight-knit second shift team at a precision fabrication shop in Boulder County. This shop works primarily in aerospace and oil & gas, doing high-quality sheet metal fabrication in an AS9100-certified environment.

This is a family-owned company with a clean, well-organized shop and a team that really knows how to get things done. Many people have been here 20+ years, so you’re stepping into a stable, low-turnover environment where the leadership truly cares about the team.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operate CNC punch press and/or laser cutting machines for sheet metal production
• Set up and run jobs according to production requirements and work instructions
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality and tolerance standards
• Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain workflow

What You'll Need:

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication
• Hands-on experience with CNC punch press or laser cutting equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating both punch and laser equipment
• Experience with combination punch/laser machines
• Experience in aerospace or AS9100 manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of GD&T

Compensation

$28 – $32/hour depending on experience

+$1.50/hour shift differential
