LTL Customer Service Representative

JOB SUMMARY: As the CSR, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships. Your main duties include serving as the main point of contact for the customer, identifying and assessing customer’s needs, and providing quotes/booking shipments.


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the main point of contact for customers through email and phone communication.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding LTL quotes, shipment setups, and any other questions.
  • Ensure shipment accuracy through pre-dispatch audits.
  • Schedule pickups with LTL carriers.
  • Resolve issues and escalate, when necessary, through proper channels.
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy into TMS.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting and strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
  • Promote an environment that supports the company brand and values.
  • Other duties as necessary or assigned.


REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
