Dedicated Account Manager

Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented, experienced Dedicated Account Manager to play a key role in our sales and operations process. This individual will work directly alongside and support a dedicated sales representative while managing day-to-day customer operations and helping grow Truckload (TL) business opportunities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hardworking, knowledgeable, and possesses a deep understanding of all aspects of a third-party logistics company.

This role will be responsible for assisting with all phases of the Truckload lifecycle, including quoting, booking, carrier coordination, shipment management, tracking/tracing, issue resolution, and customer communication to ensure exceptional service and account growth.

Qualifications:

  • MUST have prior experience in the transportation industry (preferably a 3PL) in sales, account management, carrier management, or operations.
  • Strong understanding of both LTL and Truckload transportation processes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer and carrier relationships.
  • Experience managing multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.



Duties:

  • Work directly with and support a dedicated sales representative in managing customer accounts and daily operations.


  • Manage and assist with all aspects of the Truckload shipment lifecycle from quote, covering loads, and tracking/tracing once in transit to delivery.


  • Coordinate with carriers and customers to ensure accurate and timely shipment execution.
  • Provide proactive communication and problem resolution throughout the shipping process.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service while supporting account retention and growth initiatives.
