The Logistics Coordinator supports daily warehouse and logistics operations by accurately labeling products, maintaining documentation, and assisting with inventory and batch-making activities. This role helps ensure that materials and finished goods move efficiently through the facility while meeting quality and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately label products, materials, and shipments in accordance with internal standards and documented procedures.
  • Complete and maintain all required documentation for inventory, labeling, logistics activities, and batch-making processes.
  • Support inventory control by helping track, count, and verify materials and finished goods as needed.
  • Assist with loading activities to ensure products are prepared correctly and on time for movement within the warehouse or outbound logistics.
  • Participate in batch-making tasks by following established instructions and documentation to support production and logistics workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with a small team to coordinate daily warehouse and logistics tasks and meet operational deadlines.
  • Follow all site procedures and guidelines to maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Work scheduled hours reliably and consistently, and support occasional overtime needs to meet operational demands.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 2+ years of industry experience in logistics, warehouse operations, labeling, inventory, loading, or related work.
  • Proven reliable and steady work history demonstrating consistent attendance and performance.
  • Ability to perform accurate labeling of products and materials.
  • Experience supporting logistics and warehouse operations, including loading and material handling.
  • Ability to read and write in English to complete documentation and follow written procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail for documentation, labeling, and inventory-related tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with batch-making processes in a warehouse or production environment.
  • Comfort working in a small team and collaborating across different departments.
  • Interest in growing within the organization and moving into different departments over time.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a multi-shift logistics and warehouse environment.

Work Environment

This role is based at a small site of approximately 56 employees, offering a close-knit and collaborative atmosphere. The facility operates as a three-shift operation, and this position is assigned to first shift, working Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with occasional overtime as needed. You will work alongside a team of two, allowing for direct communication and strong teamwork. The environment is described as having a great company culture with a laid-back atmosphere, while still maintaining professional standards and a focus on safety, quality, and operational efficiency. The role is performed on-site in a warehouse and logistics setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middletown, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
