Logistics Coordinator

Our client, a major Oil and gas company, is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to work on a long term contract in Houston, TX.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support EG operations with a primary focus on international logistics. This role will be responsible for expediting purchase orders and service orders for oil and gas equipment, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation. The position is expected to last through at least October, with a high probability of extension due to an upcoming drilling campaign.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage international logistics activities, including preparation and review of international shipping documentation.
• Expedite purchase orders and service orders for oil and gas equipment to ensure on-time delivery.
• Track, follow up, and resolve logistics-related issues with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders.
• Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment across teams.
• Support both international and domestic logistics needs, with a primary focus on international shipments.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with international logistics and documentation; expediting experience is required.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes related to oil and gas equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency.
• Proven self-starter who is highly accountable and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
