Job Summary


The Logistics and Inventory Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the growth and success of EQI by planning, coordinating, and optimizing logistics and inventory operations. This role works closely with customers, internal teams, suppliers, and transportation providers to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective movement of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service, compliance, and continuous improvement. The role of a Logistics and Inventory Coordinator consistently blends hands‑on inventory control with day‑to‑day logistics execution and cross‑functional coordination.


Responsibilities


  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics operations with customers, demand planner, carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams.
  • Plan, monitor, and track inbound/outbound shipments to ensure on-time, in-full delivery and cost-effective transportation.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication across demand planning, warehouse, quality, and logistics teams to keep work moving smoothly.
  • Monitor service and shipment performance (quality, quantities, timelines, packaging/labeling accuracy, and transportation costs) and resolve issues or escalate as needed.
  • Maintain visibility of inventory and stock movements, update stakeholders on inventory levels, deliveries, and dispatch requirements.
  • Support inventory control activities (cycle counts/physical inventories), reconcile system vs. physical stock, and investigate variances with warehouses and internal teams.
  • Perform and maintain accurate ERP transactions and master data, including sales order entry, ASN processing, receipts, shipments, returns/adjustments, invoices, and shipment confirmations.
  • Prepare and maintain freight documentation (e.g., bills of lading, packing lists, proof of delivery) and ensure compliance with import/export, customs, and health and safety requirements.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities; maintain logistics KPIs and reporting, and support development of tools/programs that improve inventory accuracy and on-time delivery.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for logistics and delivery, providing status updates and reports and managing customer-related issues to resolution.
  • Ensure timely and accurate system updates to support audit readiness, operational visibility, and reporting integrity.


Qualifications


  • Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in logistics coordination, operations, or supply chain management.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with logistics software, including WMS and ERP systems.
  • Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple processes across the supply chain.
  • High level of analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to accuracy and detail
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of logistics-related safety standards, regulations, laws, and policies.
