Akkodis is seeking a Localization QA – Austin, TX, for a 12-month contract
Rate Range: $25.00 - $27.00 P/HR.; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Role And Responsibilities:
This role requires your assistance in localization efforts, coordinating localization QA, working with vendor testers locally and internationally, and interacting with multiple team members in our internal team. The candidate will be creating QA plans, supporting QA efforts in the localization lab, fixing bugs, and ultimately helping to deliver high quality localized products on time in up to 40 languages simultaneously. The candidate needs the skills to quickly recognize and raise issues and communicate status effectively to their management.
Key Qualifications
. Solid understanding of Localisation Workflows, Software Development, and Software QA.
. Experience working with content management databases and localization tools.
. Proven record of localization project management, testing and bug tracking
. Outstanding organizational and time-management skills with a demonstrated ability to work
independently in a global team environment
. Excellent written and verbal cross-functional communication skills and experience
. Experience with planning, managing, and delivering multiple projects within a very tight timeframe
. High level of focus and meticulous attention to detail
