The Opportunity
We're looking for a producing leader who can drive results personally while elevating the performance of those around them. As a Mortgage Loan Officer Team Lead, you'll maintain your own active pipeline of high-intent inbound borrowers while mentoring and developing a team of Loan Officers.
This is not a traditional management role where you're removed from production. You'll continue originating loans, closing business, and leading by example while helping newer and developing Loan Officers improve their conversion rates, loan structuring abilities, and overall performance.
No cold calling. No self-sourcing. No hunting for leads.
You'll receive a steady flow of live inbound transfers, supported by dedicated processing and operations teams that allow you to focus on what you do best: advising borrowers, closing loans, and developing talent.

What You'll Do
As a Producing Loan Officer
- Take live inbound transfers from qualified borrowers actively seeking mortgage financing.
- Conduct mortgage consultations and recommend solutions aligned with borrower goals.
- Structure, price, and lock loans confidently while maintaining a high standard of service.
- Manage a high-volume pipeline while maintaining accurate documentation in Salesforce.
- Work closely with processing and underwriting teams to ensure a smooth borrower experience.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable lending regulations, including FNMA guidelines, TILA requirements, and Fair Housing laws.
As a Team Lead
- Coach and mentor a team of Loan Officers through call reviews, side-by-side coaching, and real-time feedback.
- Help Loan Officers improve conversion rates, lock volume, pipeline management, and borrower communication.
- Serve as a resource for complex loan scenarios and structuring questions.
- Act as the first point of escalation for loan-level challenges before management involvement.
- Support onboarding and development of new Loan Officers.
- Reinforce sales best practices, compliance standards, and accountability across the team.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for team growth and performance improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license required.
- Proven track record of consistent mortgage production.
- Previous experience mentoring, coaching, training, or leading Loan Officers preferred.
- Strong understanding of mortgage products, loan structuring, pricing, and underwriting guidelines.
- Ability to build trust quickly and guide borrowers through complex financial decisions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.

Compensation
- 100 BPS flat payout on personal production
- No rollbacks
