Litigation Secretary
Location: Century City, Los Angeles, CA
Pay Range: $90,000–$120,000/year

LHH is partnering with a leading law firm in Century City to hire an experienced Civil Litigation Secretary. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic legal team and support high-level attorneys in complex civil litigation matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative and litigation support to attorneys and legal professionals
- Draft, proofread, and format legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence
- Organize and maintain case files and legal records
- Track court deadlines and accurately calculate litigation timelines, including pre-trial dates
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances
- Assist with court filings, including electronic filing in both state and federal courts
- Support attorneys with discovery processes, including document production and request handling
- Prepare materials for trial, including organizing exhibits and assembling trial binders
- Conduct basic legal research and compile supporting documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a litigation secretary in a civil litigation practice
- Solid understanding of civil litigation processes, court rules, and filing procedures
- Proficiency in e-filing with both state and federal courts
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
- Professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
